Visitors experience a remote and restricted area of Kakadu in an environmentally and culturally sensitive way.
Your small group tour is led by experienced and knowledgeable guides and lodge hosts will provide a three-course dinner prepared by our Thai chef and breakfast daily.
The lodge is situated in an extremely special and justifiably renowned part of the Park, known as Cannon Hill. This area has a large diversity of the Park’s landscape elements and abundant wildlife, especially bird and marine life.
The whole of the Cannon Hill area where the camp is situated is a registered sacred site. The area has considerable importance to the local Aboriginal people.
The sandstone outliers around Cannon Hill host significant rock art & occupation sites dating back many thousands of years.
The Lodge operates from mid-May to mid-September each year. Your exclusive access to this restricted area of Kakadu National Park includes transfers to and from the Border Store. You will stay in comfortable tented cabins with ensuite facilities and decks. Lodge guests enjoy an evening guided tour to explore rock art sites and a sunset with nibblies.
Our two-night three-day self-drive HDWL2TC package includes an Arnhemlander 4wd Day Tour and or Guluyambi Cruise.
